You can exchange money in any bank in the city. Normal business hours are 9AM-5PM. It is advisable to use bank branches for money exchange rather than local exchange houses (you can find many of them with the "Exchange" sign on them). The difference in the rates are rather small. Always check that there is no commision whenever exchanging money - this is the usual in Romania but there are still exceptions.
The Brasov climate can change rapidly and includes rain and snow due to the surrounding moutains. However, the autumn months are typically quite dry and temperate, with good conditions for forest excursions. The average temperature in September is 13.5 C, but in the middle of the day temperatures can reach 25 degrees. As a tourist in Brasov, the best counsel is check the weather forcast.
The Bucharest climate is a continental climate that give Bucharest hot, dry summers and cold winters when temperatures often drop well below freezing. The city lies on the Romanian Plain, and this brings chilly winter winds. Summer temperatures are usually pleasantly warm with occasional heat waves, and humidity is low, but there can be occasional rainstorms. The rainiest seasons in Bucharest are spring and autumn.
